PhotoHunt: Metal

Many of the houses in Costa Rica are made of tin. This one was taken in January of 2006, when Spencer and I came down to scout out moving here. This little boy reminded me of Nathan, who was also missing his front teeth at the time.

It's interesting that most of the homes there are made of tin. Bless you and yours as you do your mission work.

I think this is a common sight in developing countries. Some organizations are trying to help people improve their quality of life, starting with helping them re-build their houses. Good luck on your mission. Hope you help millions of others.

Homes like this are seen all over the world, most Americans have not idea what it is like in other parts of the world. my original photo post had some old farming iron and other farmhouse items, I added a second entry because of something I saw while visiting other photo hunts, please stop by both, happy easter

I remember seeing similar homes in Mexico when I was a young girl visiting. As we passed the communities in our bus, I would dream that I was a rich woman and would come and build new homes. Blessings to you and your family for your mission.
