We rescued this one from the cat, but to no avail. The boys had a dragonfly funeral later that day.
Another creepy guy. I don't know which is worse, hairy or not.

Well after seeing these pictures I will stop complaining about the tiny fruit flies and little spiders that visit our home! :-)
So do ya' count them as science? I like to think of myself as pretty cool when it comes to creepy crawlies. (ie I don't scream, I will touch them;etc.) but those larger spiders would be hard for me to take! Do the boys catch them?
We caught and kept the tarantula for a while (until we accidentally starved it). I am trying to come up with an organized way to research and keep track of what they are learning. But yes, I'm trying to count them! :o)
Yikes! Reminds me of growing up in Hawaii, same big scary spiders!
